A celebration of life for John Thomas Chirgwin will be held on August 23 at 1 p.m. at the Federated Church in Edgartown.

Joshua Peter Weeks died unexpectedly on July 31 at his home in Denver, Colo. He was 32.

Doris (Aloha) Long, died peacefully on June 15 in the home she loved, her Camp Ground cottage in Oak Bluffs. She was 84.

Rene Louis Blanc of Oak Bluffs died peacefully on April 30, just shy of his 91st birthday, surrounded by his six children.

Robert G. Copeland of West Tisbury died on August 13 at Windemere.

Kenneth (Kenny) James Francis Jr. died in Fredericksburg, Virginia on July 30. He was 54.

Vivian (Wendy) Culin died in Louisville, Ky. on July 12. She was 96.

Grace Duart of Edgartown died on July 22 at the Martha's Vineyard Hospital. She was 101.

Annette (Nan) Carter died on July 25, surrounded by loved ones. She was 94.
