Guy Webster died peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 5, at his home in Ojai, Calif. He was 79 and had been a renowned photographer.

Elizabeth Ellen Sandland, owner of the Long Hill Assisted Living Facility of Edgartown and mother of two, died on Feb. 8. She was 75.

Eileen O’Connell Brown died peacefully at home in Morristown, N.J. on Jan. 30, surrounded by her loving family. She was 88.

Dr. Theodore Dreier Jr., a Seven Gates Farm summer resident whose family spans five generations of Vineyard life, died on Feb. 4.

Allan (Al) Albee died on Jan. 22 after a 17-month battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 78.

Ruth V. Metell of Oak Bluffs died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Feb. 8. She was 93.

Paul Pimentel of Edgartown died in California on Tuesday night. A retired engineer, he was 76.

Joan I. Svetz of Oak Bluffs died peacefully in Falmouth with her husband of 60 years, John Svetz, by her side. She was 89.

Donald Gifford Mayhew of Vineyard Haven died Tuesday at the Cape Cod Hospital. He was 87.
