Julia M. Stagg, a longtime resident of Naples, Fla., died peacefully on Saturday, April 1 in Naples. She was 97.

An up-beat celebration of life for Jack Wildauer will take place on Sunday, April 30 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Agricultural Hall in West Tisbury.

Sonia Chase Hodson died on March 17 after a lifetime of laughter, curiosity, and an affinity for all living things. She was 97.

Services for Mrs. Irene Carson MacKenty of Edgartown will be held on Saturday, April 22 at 11 a.m. at the New Westside Cemetery in Edgartown.

George R. Medeiros Sr. died at his Oak Bluffs home on Thursday, April 7. He was 72.

Rex Burney Jarrell Jr. died at home in Raleigh, N.C. on March 10. He was 83.

Michael Vincent Buddy, a lifelong summer resident of Martha’s Vineyard, died at Greenwich Hospital on April 3. He was 76.

Nelson Crosby Smith of Edgartown died on Wednesday evening, April 5 at the Mass General Hospital. He was 92.

William (Bill) Bishop off Edgartown died on March 30 after battling cancer. He was 57.
