Dutcher Dock was filled to capacity as commercial fishermen in Menemsha mingled with their customers and friends at the annual Meet the Fleet. The event was sponsored by the Martha’s Vineyard Fishermen's Preservation Trust.

There were crab races for children, net mending contests, and fish prints to made to take home. The Roann, a classic wooden dragger that once fished out of Menemsha and is now based at Mystic Seaport, visited, along with Coast Guard Station Menemsha and plenty of active fishing boats and the fishermen who operate them.
