Cheery tree lifts the spirits at Polly Hill Arboretum. Tim Johnson

Island pear, cherry and daffodils are putting on a remarkable display, seasonal avian friends have been returning, and leaf buds hint at the greening of the season. Hints and fragrances of warming days abound on the southerly breezes, and thoughts of Vineyarders turn toward the outdoors.

I loved seeing this. Amidst all the horrible. Eww that we see I believe this is just what we needed. On one of our rare nice days I swore that I could smell those beach roses. I so desperately wanted to We need something uplifting and this fit the bill!

A chorus of daffodils sing a song of spring; so much to enjoy and more. Thank you.

Great photos ....Hopefully we will be on island soon to enjoy in person. Last year was the first time in 23 years that we have not been on on the Vineyard.

Akin to a fleeting visit to M.V. Full of charm off season

At first I thought - well look at that, they did not really take all the trees from Circuit Avenue like I've heard! Look at those blooms! But then alas the date is 2020. I wonder what the street will look like April 26th of 2022 - please show us this view.
