Top Ten Students in Class of 2016

Jared Livingston has earned top honors as valedictorian for the class of 2016. He is the son of Jack Livingston of Edgartown and Tanya Koch of Vineyard Haven. Jared will attend the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, Calif. Maria Thibodeau

The Martha's Vineyard Regional High School class of 2016 will graduate Sunday at the Tabernacle. The diverse group of students are remembered at their school as thoughtful, hardworking, and eager to engage in the community around them. These are the students who received honors for being in the top 10 of their class.

Congratulations to these scholars! I wonder if it would be more appropriate to note in the headline that these are the top 10 academic scholars as there is much involved in being a student that is outside of a GPA.
