The Steamship Authority's new hybrid freight ferry Woods Hole was formally commissioned Monday, with official orders of commission read and the watch set. Shortly afterward the new ferry sailed over to Martha's Vineyard for her ceremonial maiden voyage. The new ferry begins service between Oak Bluffs and Woods Hole on Friday, June 17.
