Labor Day weekend ended early for some on the Vineyard as tropical storm Hermine headed northward towards the Island. Boats were pulled from harbors and visitors departed early Sunday in advance of the storm, which forecasts said would bring high winds to the Island Sunday night and into the early part of the week.
