From July 4 through July 10, a new group show at the art gallery pays tribute to Jaws production designer Joe Alves.

Ordinarily, the opening of summer is synonymous with art strolls and artist receptions at galleries all over the Island.

An online art show, hosted by Louisa Gould Gallery, is raising funds for the Island Food Pantry.

A Pop-Up Gallery will open its doors in Vineyard Haven from August 31 to Sept. 2 from 2 to 7 p.m. each day.

Large format is the size of the summer on the walls of three Martha’s Vineyard art galleries, with expansive landscapes, abstracts and abstract landscapes by several distinctly different painters.
