Omar Johnson, who was accused of brandishing a firearm at Rockland Trust employees during the heist, will serve a four-year prison sentence.

U.S. District Court Judge William Young on Tuesday passed down a 3.5-year prison sentence to Tevin Porter, who was one of four men accused of taking more than $39,000 from the Vineyard Haven bank. 

Romane Andre Clayton, 22, of New Haven, was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge William Young to four years in prison for his role in the 2022 robbery.

Miquel Jones, who prosecutors say was the ringleader of the 2022 armed robbery of the Rockland Trust bank, was sentenced in federal court Wednesday.

Miquel Jones, the fourth and final man accused of robbing the Vineyard Haven Rockland Trust in 2022, has agreed to plead guilty in hopes of leniency for his sentencing. 

The jury trial for Romane Clayton and Miquel Jones, two men who were arrested for allegedly robbing the Rockland Trust Bank, is now scheduled for Oct. 7, nearly a year after the initial trial date.

Petar Petyoshin, who was arrested in May for stealing more than $21,000 from the Davis Straits Rockland Trust, was also given five years of supervised release by U.S. District Court judge Angel Kelly at his sentencing Monday.
