The Tisbury select board has approved a three-year agreement to host the annual Beach Road Weekend music festival in Veterans Memorial Park

Beach Road Weekend has added a second wave of bands to its summer 2022 lineup, including Emmylou Harris and Lucinda Williams.

A scaled-back version of Beach Road Weekend due to Covid this year did little to dampen the energy Saturday night when the Tedeschi Trucks Band took the stage.

Beach Road Weekend is returning this summer as a series of three individually-ticketed concerts to be held in Veterans Memorial Park on July 23, July 24 and July 25.

The Beach Road Weekend music festival will not be returning to Vineyard Haven until late summer 2022, producer Adam Epstein said Monday.

The multi-day music festival, scheduled for late July, was canceled by the Tisbury selectmen Tuesday afternoon.

Tisbury selectmen have set aside Sept. 18 through Sept. 20 for the Beach Road Weekend concert festival, in case the event needs to be rescheduled.

The three-day music festival taking place July 24 to July 26 at Veteran's Park in Vineyard Haven will include Beck, Norah Jones, Father John Misty, Lake Street Dive and more.
