Halloween is Thursday, Oct. 31 but that doesn’t mean you need to wait until then to get your fright night groove going.

The Edgartown Public Library will celebrate Halloween with a performance by harpist and singer Áine Minogue on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 3 p.m.

Across the Island preparations have begun for Halloween. Pumpkins have been carved, costumes made, and Wiet Bacheller has begun preparing 1,200 baggies of fortune cookies to hand out to trick-or-treaters.
