On Saturday night at the Shark Tank, the Martha’s Vineyard Sharks won the NECBL championship defeating the Vermont Mountaineers 7-6. Oak Bluffs native James Sashin started the game on the mound.

The Martha’s Vineyard Sharks put on a hit parade in their home opener Tuesday night as Dan Crossen’s extra-innings double propelled the home team to a 6-5 victory over the Valley Blue Sox.
The energy was electric on Tuesday night as the Sharks faced the Danbury Westerners for the southern division championship. In a hard fought, close game the Westerners prevailed 7-5.
