The windy rain and chill signaling more like fall than spring was no match for the rush of activities in Oak Bluffs preparing for what portends to be a very busy summer.
In reflecting on the 175th year of the publishing of our beloved Vineyard Gazette I have been thinking about the origins and evolution of my own Oak Bluffs town column here in the paper.
Ocean Park, my ninth wonder of the world, is adorned with blue, green, gold, red, turquoise and pearl white colored Christmas trees creating a mosaic of visual holiday cheer to temporarily take our minds off the virus that will limit our family gatherings this Christmas and Hanukkah season.
