Next month, 21 Islanders in need of an income-adjusted, year-round lease will move into the new Scott’s Grove affordable housing units in West Tisbury.

State and Island officials broke ground Friday at Scott’s Grove, a project to build nine affordable rental apartments.

The West Tisbury affordable housing project got a large boost last week with the announcement of a $900,000 state grant.
