The YMCA of Martha’s Vineyard is offering more than 40 free group exercise classes online.

The Vineyard community gathered at the Davies residence in Chilmark last week for the ninth annual Stars+Stripes festival, a fundraiser to support the YMCA.

The YMCA hosts its annual Stars + Stripes benefit on Wednesday, July 31 at a private home.

The benefit hockey game on Saturday between Bruins alumni and Vineyard all-stars raised $50,000 for the Martha’s Vineyard Arena and the YMCA.

Beginning Jan. 4, the West Tisbury Library will offer four free Pilates classes on alternating Fridays from 4 to 5 p.m.

The YMCA and Martha’s Vineyard Arena plan to merge on Dec. 31, leaders for both organizations confirmed this week.
