After nine years of providing fair winds for the nonprofit Sail Martha’s Vineyard, executive director Brock Callen has announced his retirement, the organization said.

Sail MVhas entered into an agreement with the Martha’s Vineyard Shipyard to become the hosting sponsor of the 2018 Vineyard Cup Regatta.

Andrew Nutton will become the new director of programs at Sail Martha’s Vineyard in September. He has been running the sailing department at the Royal Hospital School in England for 10 years.

Maritime historian Matthew Stackpole will lead a voyage to the 19th century next week.
