With a program that ranged from traditional carols to a fun arrangement of The Twelve Day of Christmas, the Island Community Chorus ushered in the holiday season this weekend with their annual holiday concert. On Saturday night, the chorus performed to a full crowd.

The 115-member chorus, directed by Peter R. Boak, filled the Old Whaling Church with song. L. Garrett Brown provided piano accompaniment (and even moved up to the balcony to play the organ).

After the concert, the chorus and the audience adjourned to the Baylies Room for snacks.

The community chorus will perform their second holiday concert of the weekend on Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Old Whaling Church.
