The water's still a bit too chilly for a swim, but Vineyarders headed out to the beach Saturday with cleaning, not sunbathing, on the agenda. Volunteers hit beaches around the Island for the 23rd annual Vineyard Conservation Society Earth Day clean-up. From Chappaquiddick to Vineyard Haven, volunteers of all ages pitched in to clean the beaches before heading to an after-party at the Harbor View Hotel.
