Yoga Teacher Training

Fly Yoga School led by Sherry Sidoti is offering a 200-hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training Program featuring two 10-day intensive immersion periods. The first session takes place from May 19 to 29 and the second session is from Sept. 14 to 24.

Although the training does lead to teacher certification, it is not intended for would-be yoga teachers only. It is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in yoga to gain a deeper understanding including the physical and emotional benefits as well as the history and philosophy of the form.

The program will take place at a local studio in Vineyard Haven and a private retreat in Chilmark.

The cost is $1375 per session or $1250 for session 1 if paid by April 1 and $1250 for session 2 if paid by August 1. This rate does not include housing.
