Bravo, Susan Johnson

The Friends of the Vineyard Haven Public Library are presenting an exhibit of landscape studies by painter Susan Johnson. The exhibit will be on display during regular library hours throughout the month of August as part of its Art in the Stacks initiative.

Ms. Johnson recently returned from an intensive six-week study program for plein air landscape painting and art history with Boston University. Her current collection of landscape studies were produced during June and July in plein air fashion in Tuscany. If you can get over the prospect of extreme jealousy prepare to be dazzled and soothed by olive groves and grape vineyards.
