On Saturday, Sept. 10, Barbara McBride will be the guest speaker at the Martha’s Vineyard Chapter of the Order of St. Luke. The meeting is scheduled for 10 a.m. in the Anderson Room of Grace Episcopal Church in Vineyard Haven. There will be music, prayers and a healing Eucharist. A brown-bag lunch will be shared afterwards.

Mrs. McBride is a computer scientist, retired from government service, and a past member of the North American Board of the Order of St. Luke the Physician (OSL), an international ecumenical organization dedicated to the Christian healing ministry. With her husband, Mike, she has been involved in Faith Alive as members of teams in California and the Bahamas.

Mrs. McBride will also be a special guest at the adult forum on Sunday, Sept. 11 at 10 a.m. in the Grace Church parish hall.
