The Felix Neck Fall Festival is turning 22 this year. It takes place on Friday, Nov. 23, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (raindate Nov. 24). The event can be summed up with the words; Migrate, Hibernate, Adapt. There are hayrides, face painting, live music by The Flying Elbows, food, wreath making, crafts for kids and birds of prey.
At 9 a.m. there is also a guided bird walk with Robert Culbert. All experience levels are welcome amd binoculars are available to borrow.
During the festival, Marla Isaac of New England Reptile and Raptors will display a variety of birds of prey including turkey vultures, osprey and a variety of owls. The birds will be out and about throughout the day with three official shows taking place at 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 2 p.m.
Admission is $4 for members of Mass Audubon, $7 for nonmembers, with children under three free.
