Bring dancing shoes and a healthy appetite to the Agricultural Hall Saturday, March 4 for the Agricultural Society’s Meat Ball.

The annual celebration features a host of meats — and some fresh veggies — from North Tabor Farm, The Good Farm, Morning Glory Farm, The Grey Barn and Farm, Mermaid Farm, and Ghost Island Farm. Dining starts at 6 p.m.; bring your own beverages and place settings. Music by the Space Invaders starts at 7:30 p.m.

The event is $15 for adults, $10 for Ag Society members, $5 for children and $40 for a family. All proceeds benefit the Agricultural Society.

The meat celebration begins earlier in the day at the Agricultural Hall with educational workshops about butchering, smoking, and preparing meats. Titles include One Chicken, Many Meals; I Butchered It, and So Can You; and Pâté Cake, Pâté Cake.
