The West Tisbury Library is hosting a screening of the documentary Brave New World — How Silicon Valley is Shaping our Future, and a discussion with the filmmaker Angela Andersen.

Ms. Anderson is a West Tisbury resident and has producied over 50 documentaries as a producer, writer and director. Her topics have ranged from nuclear proliferation, to hunger and thirst. Her latest film reveals both the opportunities that Silicon Valley has created for the world, and the potential dark side.

The program is Monday, Nov. 27, beginning at 7 p.m.
