Turkey is on the menu Thanksgiving day but the next day Felix Neck puts birds of prey center stage — alive and full of talons.

It’s the annual fall festival, which features of a host of raptors including osprey, red tailed hawks and a variety of owls, thans to Marla Isaac of New England Reptile and Raptors. Get up close and personal with these cool kids of the skies, with shows at 11 a.m., 12:30 and 2 p.m.

The day begins with a guided bird walk led by Robert Culbert. There will also be non-bird events, including hay rides, music by the Flying Elbows, face painting, wreath making, crafts and more.

The event is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 29, with a rain date on Saturday, Nov. 30.

Admission is $6 for members, $10 for nonmembers; children under 3 are free.
