My poor crocuses are so confused. First it is so warm and then the next day we had a snow storm, then two days later it was 55 degrees. Believe me, the crocuses are not the only ones confused. But I think we are all happy it is lighter later. Now we just have to wait patiently for it to be lighter in the morning. Big balloons go out to Luiz Magri, who celebrated March 7, Syius Rivers Rigali, March 9, Addison McDonough and Keira Willoughby, March 10, Davi Soares, March 11, Isabelly Santana and Hailey Townes, March 12, and to Elias Graves who celebrates his day today March 13.

Well my friends the Island is waking up. I have been seeing more landscaping trucks on the road, the painters are gearing up and I am seeing more people out and about.

I have not seen any robins but I have seen and heard red-winged blackbirds. I love the sound of the birds, even if it is very early in the morning, but there is nothing like the sound of the red wings in the spring.

I was looking at the Edgartown Library web site and did you know that there are so many activities they provide. They have a site where you can learn a new language. Also, if you are taking your kids or grandchildren they have passes for museums and parks,

They also have a new digital media service called Hoopla that allows you to enjoy movies, music, audiobooks, eBooks, comics and TV shows on your computer, tablet or phone.

We are so lucky to have these resources available to us. Hope you give them a try.

Have a great week and keep the home candles burning.
