We made it through April with the rain and wind, and now we are waiting for the sun and some flowers to show their beautiful colors.

Happy Birthday to all who celebrated their day this past week. Big balloons go out to Emily Freeman and Olivia McCormick who celebrated April 25; Adriana Young, April 26; Madison Mello April 27; Finnegan McDonald, Sophia Pereira and Paige Smith who all celebrated April 28; Sierra Meuse, Clara Rabeni, April 29; and to Carter Braillard and Ariel Meyer who celebrated their day April 30.

Special birthday wishes to two important people in my life. Donna Cavallo celebrated her day April 27, and Ella Blodgett celebrated on April 29.

I have a brief follow up on the Rocks MV. It seems one of the rocks hidden was for Linda Fischer who retired from the hospital after 44 years of being a nurse. Linda lives in West Tisbury with her husband Albert (Bert). Thank you Linda for all your years of caring for people in your loving way. Hope you and Bert have many years of walking the beaches and enjoying your two active puppies, along with some travel adventures.

From the news tonight it looks like we are going to be a couple of more weeks of Stay-at-Home. People are handling it in many different ways but the best way I have seen on social media is the baking. Everyday someone has made bread, cakes, doughnuts etc. Meals have been posted by people and they are all pretty nice entrees. There is one group called the Quarantine Queens and it is a group from all over the country and the recipes are so good. It is amazing to see all the different varieties of cooking. All we have to worry about now is the weight loss program we are going to need.

I hope you are all well. If we stay home like we are told maybe we can get out of this lockdown sooner. Wear your masks and wash those hands. But most of all be safe.

Have a great week and keep the home candles burning.
