Ben Hughes, Rose Guerin, Delanie Pickering, and other Island musicians will play an all-ages Zoom concert (meeting ID 744 741 3580) for Mass Audubon Felix Neck on May 9 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., according to an announcement from the wildlife sanctuary.

Co-sponsored by the Ritz, the live event supports Mass Audubon's biggest single fundraiser, the annual Bird-a-thon, which takes place the following weekend with a new twist.

For 24 hours beginning Friday, May 15, the Bird-a-thon challenges bird watchers to go carbon-free as they observe and identify as many species as they can. "Participants can bird from home—a window, backyard, or go to a green space within short walking or biking distance from home," the announcement reads, in part. Birders also are asked to go solo or with household members to maintain social distancing.
