On Sept. 26, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the West Tisbury Library will hold a “pop up library” under a tent in the parking lot, according to an announcement from the library. The rain date is Oct. 3.

Children’s and young adult materials, along with adult books and DVDS, will be available for contactless browsing. Librarians will be available on site to help browsers pick their next reads and check out their selections.

The Friends of the West Tisbury Library will also be giving away pre-packed children’s book bundles, based on reading level and interest, for families to keep and enjoy.

Please bring a library card or ID. There will be forms available to register for a card.

Face masks and social distancing are mandatory and books may not be touched by patrons until the material has been checked out, to limit the possibility of spreading Covid-19.
