In its first winter event, the Martha’s Vineyard Book Festival will present a virtual interview on Thursday, Feb. 25 featuring award-winning actor, author and advocate Michael J. Fox talking about his fourth book.
His memoir, No Time Like the Future, addresses Mr. Fox’s ongoing struggle with Parkinson’s disease, his fear of growing older and living with illness and the importance of friends and family, with characteristic optimism and humor. The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research has raised over $1 billion for research to find a cure.
Harlan Coben, a best-selling suspense novelist, will interview Mr. Fox, a personal friend.
The online event will be held on Crowdcast beginning at 7 p.m. on Feb. 25. Admission is free, but donations are welcome and advance registration is required. Copies of Mr. Fox’s memoir is available at the Bunch of Grapes bookstore.
