The Martha's Vineyard Community Seed Library Group hosts another seed swap and giveaway on the West Tisbury Library porch March 20 from 10 a.m. to noon, weather permitting (updates at westtisburylibrary.org).

Locally saved vegetable, flower and fruit seeds will be available on a first come, first served basis, with a limit of five packets per person while supplies last. Participants are encouraged to bring seeds to swap and share, and to save their seeds after the growing season and “return” them to the seed library.

The event is free, with masks and social distancing required. The MV Community Seed Library is a collaboration with Island Grown Initiative, Polly Hill Arboretum, West Tisbury Library, Whippoorwill Farm and local home gardeners.
