The adoption news for this week is that it looks like Summer’s adoption has stuck. Here’s to a happy life.
We are again featuring a pair this week. It’s a pair of five-year old, orange and white, male cats. Scout is a lighter buffy orange, and Catticus is a darker copper color and both have these beautiful pale green eyes. As for personality, what is there to say except who doesn’t want an orange male kitty, and these two are no exception. They couldn’t be friendlier. Both these boys are neutered and up-to-date on vaccines and ready to go either separately or together. And they both prefer the indoor/outdoor lifestyle. Come meet these handsome dudes and see if they could be for you.
Beacon and Captain, the five-year old, Springer Spaniel brothers are still waiting for their forever home(s). These dogs are stunning, show quality and very sweet. And it’s not necessary that they stay together. They’ve also been neutered and are up-to-date on their vaccines.
As for cats, the very sweet tuxedo, Jelly, is still waiting for her new family, as are the Guinea Pig girls, Miss T and Bonnie.
With temperatures on the rise please be mindful of pavement and vehicle temperatures, and consider leaving your best friend at home. And remember to keep up with flea and tick treatments, as well as checking your pets and yourself. The ticks have been rampant this year.
The Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard is here for our community. We’re always available and our door is always open should your adoption not be a perfect fit. Also, if anyone is in need of cat food, dog food, or a crate, we have plenty and are happy to share.
