An Oak Bluffs man has been arraigned in Dukes County superior court on 46 charges, including two counts of rape, that stem from a string of alleged incidents over the course of nearly two years.
Felix Reagan, 24, of Oak Bluffs was indicted Wednesday by a grand jury on two counts of rape, 11 counts of indecent assault and battery on a person over the age of 14, 10 counts of photographing an unsuspecting nude person, five counts of disseminating photographs of an unsuspecting nude person, and five counts of violating an abuse prevention order.
All the alleged incidents occurred in Oak Bluffs or Edgartown between January 2019 and December 2020. The rape charges are from an unknown date in 2020, and Feb. 9, 2019. Other charges are from Jan. 14, 2019, Jan. 26, 2019, April 2020 and December 23, 2020, as well as unknown dates in 2020 and 2019, according to court records.
Mr. Reagan was also indicted on Feb. 16, 2020 charges in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery on a family/household member and assault and battery on a police officer, as well as June 1, 2020 charges in Oak Bluffs of two counts of assault and battery on a family/household member, two counts of aggravated assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (shod foot) and intimidation of a witness.
Also included in the indictments are charges from a Dec. 2020 incident that include armed burglary (knife), assault with a dangerous weapon (knife), disturbing the peace, threatening to commit a crime, resisting arrest and intimidating a witness.
The indictments are partially sealed, with victim names redacted.
Mr. Reagan pleaded not guilty to all 46 indictments at a Zoom arraignment before the Hon. Mark Gildea on Wednesday, July 21. Mr. Reagan was represented by Edgartown lawyer Robb Moriarty. The prosecuting attorney was Cape and Islands assistant district attorney Michael Patterson.
Mr. Reagan is currently being held at the Edgartown house of correction after he was arraigned on a variety of charges, including kidnapping, in Edgartown district court in late December 2020. The grand jury indictments do not include kidnapping charges.
In Dukes County Superior Court on Wednesday, Mr. Reagan was ordered to be held at the Edgartown jail without bail until a pre-trial conference scheduled for July 27.
A Ware man, Jonathan Watson, was also arraigned on one count of indecent assault and battery of a person under the age of 14 during Wednesday's superior court session. Mr. Watson is currently living with his mother in Edgartown, according to testimony from his lawyer in court.
