We have more adoption news! Buster, the elderly tabby, has found an angel to spend his golden years with. And Gordon, the long haired, black cat is out on a trial with his adoption pending. We hope this turns out to be a perfect match.

Anyone want a kitten? Hurry, hurry, hurry we have two darling, female black kittens, eight weeks old and ready to go. Come scoop these little ones up.

Our featured pet this week is Roo, aka Rooster, a fourteen years young, dilute calico who is a total sweetheart. She purrs and purrs and just wants to be with you and get love. She also has beautiful sparking blue eyes. Because she can be timid with other cats, she’s prone to keeping her distance from them so may do best in a home where she can be the one and only. But when it comes to people she just adores them. Come meet her and see if she’s the one for you. She’s ready to go.

We have two other cats looking for their new families. Miles is a seven-year-old tuxedo with a great personality, and Faith is a calico in her twenties.

If anyone is interested in adopting Guinea pigs we have four super friendly girls; Bonnie, Miss T, Humpty and Dumpty to choose from. All have been hand-raised and are very friendly.

The Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard is here for our community. We’re always available and our door is always open should your adoption not be

a perfect fit. Also, if anyone is in need of cat food, dog food, or a crate, we have plenty and are happy to share. The Island Food Pantry also has pet food for those in need. Just give us a call during regular shelter hours.
