Its been another great week at the shelter. The rabies clinic was a huge success on Saturday. Thank you to everyone who attended.

Our pets of the week are Molly and Mia, two Guinea Pigs who are still looking for their forever home. Molly is four years old with brown and white markings, while Mia, who is three, is a calico with a black face.

These girls are well socialized, sweet, have big appetites and come with a cage if needed. They would be wonderful pets for children, schools, libraries and anyone else who has space in their heart for two small critters.

The next nail clinic is scheduled for April 12 from 10 a.m. to noon. The fee is $20. Dogs must be leashed and cats, rabbits and Guinea pigs must be in carriers — walk-ins only, no appointment needed. Please be prepared to wait outside in line.

Puppy classes are back led by dog trainer Jeremy Jones. Classes are for puppies 12 weeks to 5 months old. First class starts on Sunday April 27 at 10:30 a.m. at the shelter. Sessions will continue every Sunday for six weeks for a total of $360. Payment can be made directly to Jeremy on day of class. To sign up, call the shelter at 508-627-8662 or Jeremy at 508-633-0841/jeremyjonesdogtraining@gmail.com.
