It’s a Christmas miracle, Guinea pig sisters Bonnie and Miss T have finally found their family and are going to have a very special holiday this year. And pretty tabby Prudy has found her forever home for the holidays as well.

The board, staff and volunteers of the Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard wish everyone a merry and bright holiday season, especially our former residents and their families.

If anyone is looking for a new companion for the new year we have a Miles, a male tuxedo cat who is seven, Maxine is a petite tabby, 16 years old, and Faith is the old girl in her 20s. The adoption fee will be waived for these older girls.

And there a two female Guinea pigs, Humpty and Dumpty, waiting for someone to love. They have been hand-raised and are very friendly.

The Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard is here for our community. We’re always available and our door is always open should your adoption not be a perfect fit. Also, if anyone is in need of cat food, dog food, or a crate, we have plenty and are happy to share. The Island Food Pantry also has pet food for those in need. Just give us a call during regular shelter hours.
