We get to start the year on a high note by reporting that Ceecee, the orange feline, has found her new home for the new year. What a happy ending. Our other good news is that in 2022, 52 cats, 19 dogs, six Guinea pigs and two rabbits that came through our door found their forever homes thanks to you. And we’re looking for 2023 to be just as successful.
This week our featured pet is Max, a 10-year old chocolate labrador retriever/husky cross. Max is a well-behaved, friendly dog who is still a playful boy. He gets along with dogs but is not a fan of cats. He came to us after being neglected so is on a feeding regimen to increase his weight.
We also have two young cats in need of homes. Dee Dee is a one-year old, indoor/outdoor calico. She is a little shy and would like a patient owner. We feel that once she feels secure, she will blossom into a sweet, affectionate companion. Alice is a two-year old torbi and white cat who is looking for a home with experienced cat owners. She’s a very affectionate girl who adores people and attention, but she can get over-stimulated. Alice is the type of cat who believes she’s the queen, but she’s happiest when she’s being adored. And she’s happy to share her home with dogs, but no other cats please, she wants all the attention.
