The Steamship Authority will hold two public information sessions on the Vineyard next month to show residents features of the ferry line’s new website and mobile application.
The authority has been developing a new website for months and officials said earlier in October that it is expected to rollout around Thanksgiving. On Monday, the ferry line announced it would hold the sessions to “allow residents the opportunity to familiarize themselves with [the website’s] features, ask questions, and review new functionality on the site.”
The first Vineyard session will be on Nov. 6 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Howes House in West Tisbury. The second will be held that same day at the Tisbury Senior Center from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Each session is two hours to allow people to drop in with questions.
Two sessions will also be held on Nantucket, and a virtual session is scheduled for Nov. 13 at 5 p.m. The link to join the webinar is https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82172141892, or participants can go to zoom.us and use meeting ID 821 7214 1892.
