We have an adoption to report this week. Bad Larry and his brother Jr. came to the shelter from a feral cat colony. They were about one-year-old and were going to be neutered and sent to a barn to live. Bad Larry is the spitting image of a snowshoe Siamese. A volunteer saw him and was determined to rehabilitate him, he responded well and is now residing with her. And his name has been changed.

Hey Guinea pig lovers, two beauties have just arrived and are waiting to move into your home. Rocco is a short-haired, tri-color boy who is about six years old and really loves his veggies. Meadow is a long-haired, female tri-color who is only one year old. Both are very sweet and have been hand-raised.

We have a wonderful cat that needs a home. Benny is an eight-year-old, ragdoll mix with light blue eyes. He is a beautiful cat with a wonderful personality who enjoys playing, is affectionate and is also quite the purrer. We’re looking for a special angel for Benny, he suffers from diabetes and needs daily insulin injections, but there is a possibility that this may be reversed. From the staff to the volunteers everyone who meets him falls in love.

The next nail clinic takes place this Saturday, May 4 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.; walks-ins only, $20 cash or check.
