Good news! Guinea pigs Rocco and Meadow were adopted together. Here’s to lots of fun times for all.
Our pet of the week is Julius, a four-year-old, male ferret. Julius is a brown and white bandit ferret who has been hand-raised and is very sweet. As a bonus, he comes with his cage and enough food to last for the next six to twelve months. Julius is not at the shelter so if you’d like to meet him, please contact us to make an appointment.
The next nail clinic takes place on Saturday, June 8 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; walks-ins only, $20 cash or check.
Did you know that when requested an animal can remain in its home until adopted. The shelter performs the same entry assessment to ensure the pet can be safely adopted. We then refer potential adopters to the pet’s owner.
Looking for a gift for the person/people who have everything? Please consider making a donation to the shelter in their name(s). It’s the perfect gift for any occasion. And we now have Venmo available for your convenience.
The Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard is here for our community. We’re always available and our door is always open should your adoption not be a perfect fit.
