The nights are getting cooler, and it is time to bring in your topicals and other house plants. It is all the shuffling around to try to fit them back in your house that is the hard part. But the sun is still warm during the day, which makes it hard on what to wear during the day. Once 3 p.m. comes around the temperature sure does drop fast.

Happy Birthday to all who celebrated their day this past week. Big balloons go out to Charlotte Knapp and Tasso Gomes October 12, Miles Brown October 13, Taj Barbosa, Hallerrandro Marques, October 14, Avery Estrella, October 16, Arthur Avansini, October 17 and to John Curelli, who celebrates his today October 18.

It has been an astrological week. We have a comet, which has been close enough to see with the naked eye. I have not personally seen it, but I have seen some great pictures on Social Media. We had a beautiful full moon and, of course, the big event was the Arora Borealis. My sister-in-law Lela called me and told me to go outside because her husband Cooper was fishing and told her it had started, and the beach sky was beautiful.

The information we had was that it was going to be 10 p.m. until around 2 a.m. My backyard sky was beautiful—the colors were pink into a purple. I did see some green, but I was so happy to see what I saw. Of course, social media exploded with pictures. I have to say my favorite pictures were from Justine De Oliviera, who posted a beautiful shot from the bend in the road with the full sky from green to purple. It was one of those nights you could not stop looking at the sky.

The Derby is about to come to an end, and I have seen some great fish being weighed in. With the weather being go nice, it should be a great ending and hopefully some nice fish being weighed in.

Now that the Derby is at the end, men and some women are sitting in trees. Deer season is upon us, so please be careful walking in wooded areas and keep your dogs leashed and wearing orange.

Have a great week and keep the home candles burning.
