The adoption news of the week is that Judy, the tuxedo kitten, was snapped up immediately. Here’s to years of fun for everyone.
Our pet of the week is Nellie, a beautiful 13-year-old, medium hair, torbi cat. Nellie came to us shy and fearful but has been making great progress lately. She now has a roommate, LoLo, whose presence hasn’t had any impact on her behavior so we know she’s feeling much less stressed. Come meet Nellie and see if you were meant for each other.
Also available is the above mentioned LoLo, a lovely 16-year-old, long-haired, black and white cat. This girl is very friendly with a lovely disposition. She would prefer to be an only cat, but she would be a wonderful addition to any home.
We also have three, female four-month-old kittens. Pippin is a tabby, Meryl an interestingly marked torbi, and Blossom, the runt, is an adorable tortoiseshell. These girls are very sweet, but still shy since they started their lives as feral, but are progressing nicely. Hurry up, they won’t last long.
And for the Guinea pig lovers we have a mother/daughter pair in need of a home(s). Both are Abyssinian with calico coloring. Moana is the mother, is three-year-old and has a light face. Her daughter, Chip is two and has a black face. Both are hand-raised and very friendly, and ready to become members of your family.
The next nail clinic is Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. until noon — walk-ins only, $20 cash or check. Dogs must be leashed and cats, rabbits and Guinea pigs need to be in carriers.
Looking for a gift for the person/people who have everything? Please consider making a donation to the Shelter in their name(s). It’s the perfect gift for any occasion. And we now have Venmo available for your convenience.
