This week we’re happy to report that kitties, Ellie and Pumpkin, have been successfully re-homed. What good news.

Since we’ve been featuring pairs lately this week we’ll continue with this by featuring the cats, Summer and Cloud. Summer, the Ragdoll mix. These two need to stay with each other as they have been housemates. They are special-needs cats, Cloud has security issues and stops eating when he’s upset. He needs to be in a clean and quiet environment with someone who will shower him with affection. No dogs or other cats. Summer is Cloud’s emotion support companion. She has an unresolved respiratory issue but it doesn’t seem to bother her. Her markings are bi-color, her face calico and she has those stunning blue eyes. Cloud is a gray boy with golden eyes. Both these cats are sweet, sweet, sweet. There must be an angel out there for them.

The Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard is here for our community. We’re always available and our door is always open should your adoption not be a perfect fit. Also, if anyone is in need of cat food, dog food, or a crate, we have plenty and are happy to share. The Island Food Pantry also has pet food for those in need. Just give us a call during regular shelter hours.
