It’s been a good week for adoptions. Big tuxedo boy Buddy has a new, wonderful family, and the calico aunt and niece, Sheba and Nina, went to their new home together.

Our pet of the week is Vinny, a two-year-old, male, white cat with tabby markings. He’s a super sweet and affectionate boy, a real lap cat who adores people. His only downside is that he’s not fond of other cats, he seems to be fearful of them, so would be happiest as an only cat.

There are three dogs in need of forever homes. Cooper is a nine-months-old, male, hound mix puppy. He’s a sweet, smart, friendly boy with lots of puppy exuberance who will need a home with an experienced dog owner who can keep up with his training, which he’s excelling at. Jack is an older gentleman, but he’s very well behaved. He’s a hound mix and very cute, up-to-date and ready to go. And so is Tag. Tag is a nine-year-old, male, Springer Spaniel/Labrador Retriever/Boxer mix who is being re-homed due to no fault of his own. He’s a good boy who’s still playful and lots of fun.

And if you’re not a dog or cat person we also have two, large black, female rabbits, Laverne and Shirley, and two male calico Guinea pigs, Bert and Ernie, in need of homes.

If you’re planning on coming to Harborfest in Oak Bluffs on Saturday please stop by and see us, we’ll be selling some lovely jewelry to raise funds and will have some of our adoptable pets for you to meet.
