The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

Sept. 2

Shamar T. Hyatt, 33, of Oak Bluffs, was arraigned on two August 31 charges in Oak Bluffs of distributing a Class B drug (cocaine). Defendant released upon payment of $200 bail and with further condition of the right to be drug tested and instructions to report twice weekly to Probation. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 26.

Shamar T. Hyatt, 33, of Oak Bluffs, was arraigned on Sept. 1 charges in Oak Bluffs of possession of a Class B drug (cocaine) with intention to distrribute and trafficking in 100 grams or more but less than 200 grams of cocaine. Defendant released on payment of $2,000 bail and with further condition of the right to be drug tested and instructions to report twice weekly to Probation. Probable cause hearing scheduled for Sept. 26.

Sept. 9

Mateus Marques Vieira, 26, of Oak Bluffs, was arraigned on Sept. 9 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Defendant released upon payment of $100 bail. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Nov. 10.
