We are at the time of year where it is warmer outside than inside. You dress with a nice warm sweatshirt or sweater only to go outside and find it is warm enough for a long-sleeved shirt. Plus, you are determined to not turn on the heat till Nov. 1. I admit I don’t make that mark but I turn on the heat just to take the chill off the house and then shut it off again.
Happy Birthday to all who celebrated their day this past week. Big balloons go out to Dylan Beeson and Keiry Fonseca, who celebrated on Oct. 1; Ilana Batista, Isla Ditchfield and Hailey Smith on Oct. 2; Robert Moriarty, Tristan Talbot and Lucy Tewa on Oct. 3; Shanoiya Coke and Mason Tewa on Oct. 4; Chevy Lavergne and Wendella Rosa on Oct. 5; Rayssa Moraes on Oct. 6; and to Alana Rosbeck, who celebrates on Oct. 7.
Congratulations to Del Araujo and Jenn Straub, who were united in marriage on Oct. 1 at the Agricultural Hall. Even though it was a rainy day, the setting was beautiful and the hall was filled with love. They are now off on their honeymoon to Salt Lake City and then a bit of traveling before flying to a resort in Scottsdale, Ariz. Here is to many years of happiness together.
Amelia Craig and two of her friends are off to Europe for a fun adventure. She spent last winter in Hawaii and was home for the summer. One stop is to Portugal, which I hear is beautiful. I wish these young ladies a great trip. Be safe. Enjoy it while you are young.

Beth and Bill Erickson were here for the weekend, visiting friends and family. They moved to Maine this past spring and have been busy fixing up their new home and getting familiar with the area.
Jenn Jackson Kennedy was also here with her husband Mark, their daughters Shealyn and Danielle, and Mark’s mother Mille. They traveled up from Pennsylvania and had a good time with parents Beth and Bill and spent time with her dad Glenn Jackson. They all had a great time catching up.
Have a great week and keep the home candles burning.
