The Chappaquiddick Island Association annual meeting will be held at the community center on Saturday, August starting at 9 a.m. Coffee and refreshments will be provided prior to the meeting coming to order. The Edgartown fire and police chiefs, town administrator, representatives of TTOR and Sheriff’s Meadow will speak. This is a golden opportunity to ask questions and express your concerns.

The deadline to submit photos for the Chappy Community Center 2025 calendar is this Friday, July 26, at 3 p.m. Photos will be displayed in the CCC for voting starting on July 29tand ending on August 23 at 3 p.m. Fourteen winners will be featured in the calendar — 12 months plus the front and back covers. See the CCC website for submission requirements.

The community center is alive with events and activities these summer days. Check the website often for details and updates. This Saturday, July 27 at 7:30 p.m. the Verona Quartet returns to the CCC with Polish guitarist Lukasz Kuropaczewski to perform Vivaldi, Verdi and Castelnuovo-Tedesco.
