We have no adoptions to report this week but our pets of the week are Molly and Mia, two very friendly Guinea Pigs. Mia is four years old with brown and white markings, while Molly, who is three, is a calico with a black face. These girls are well socialized, sweet and come with a cage if needed.

If you’re looking for a dog, Dickie, a male, is a 10-year-old, black and white terrier mix. Dickie is an active and playful boy who loves walks, as long as they’re not too long and it’s a nice day. He also enjoys car rides but can be protective of the vehicle with strangers, and it does take him some time to warm up to strangers. Otherwise, he’s a good dog, pretty chill and he likes to snuggle with his people. He is dog friendly but selective. He has lived with other dogs and fit into the pack, but how he feels about cats is unknown. However, since he displays fear aggression he is not recommended for a home with children, and he will need an experienced dog owner. Dickie is up to date and ready to go. If you would like to meet him, please contact the Shelter to set up and appointment.

Also available is Nellie, a beautiful 13-year-old, medium hair, torbie cat. Nellie came to us shy and fearful, but she has been spending more and more time out of hiding and is allowing more people to pet her. She has even begun to snuggle with her favorites. Nellie has a very sweet nature and we know that she will blossom once she finds her person and goes to a home where she feels comfortable. Come meet her and see if you were meant for each other.
