We’re happy to report that Star, a Shih Tzu, has gone to his new forever home. Congratulations sweet boy.
Our pet of the week is Annie, a medium hair, torbi cat. We’re not sure of her exact age but she is believed to be under five years old. Annie can be described as a very sweet and kind girl.
Also available is Nellie, a stunning 13-year-old, medium hair, torbi cat. Nellie has made great strides since she got here, she came to us shy and fearful, but she has been spending more and more time out of hiding and is allowing more people to pet her.
Also available are Molly and Mia, two very friendly Guinea Pigs. Molly is four years old with brown and white markings, while Mia, who is three, is a calico with a black face. These girls are well socialized, sweet and come with a cage if needed.
The MV Film Society is planning on showing the New York Cat Film Festival at the Film Center on the weekend of March 14. There will be a collection of short films exploring the mystique of the fascinating felines who share our lives as well as a silent auction with Animal Portraits illustrated by Alexis Ladd. A portion of this events proceeds will be donated to The Animal Shelter.
